How to Use JSV Coco Grow Bags
- 1. Position the Grow Bag :
- Place the coco grow bag on your growing surface (bench, floor, or grow bed), ensuring it is stable and gets enough light.
- 2. Hydrate the Coco Coir :
- Slowly add clean water to the bag. Allow the compressed cocopeat inside to expand and loosen fully—this usually takes 15-30 minutes.
- 3. Cut Planting Holes :
- Use a knife or scissors to cut open the top of the bag as per your plant spacing needs. Some grow bags have pre-marked guides.
- 4. Transplant Seedlings or Sow Seeds
- Insert your seedlings or seeds directly into the expanded coco media inside the bag.
- 5. Set Up Irrigation
- Connect a drip irrigation system or water manually. Coco coir retains moisture but still needs regular watering.
- 6. Add Nutrients
- Since coco is a neutral medium, use a balanced nutrient mix suited for your crops (vegetables, flowers, etc.).
