How to Use JSV Coco Fiber Baskets
- 1. Choose the Right Size
- Pick a basket that suits the size and type of plant you’re growing (small for herbs, larger for flowers or ferns).
- 2. Line the Basket (Optional)
- Though coir baskets often come pre-lined, you can add a plastic liner with drainage holes if you need better water control.
- 3. Add Potting Mix
- Fill the basket with good-quality potting soil or a mix of coco peat and compost.
- For moisture-loving plants, add a bit of vermiculite or perlite.
- 4. Plant Carefully
- Dig a small hole, place the plant gently, and cover the roots.
- Press the soil firmly to secure the plant in place.
- 5. Water Properly
- Water thoroughly until excess drains out.
